Hockey Hustle: Gyro Moves

Game jam entry for the Wam Jam.

A web-based game where you score goals by tapping and tilting your phone. 

For now at least, this is a mobile-only game.  Tested on iOS 16, but Android should work as well.

Due to how iOS permissions work, PLEASE PLAY THIS GAME HERE. You can also access Hockey Hustle by playing the itch.io game on this page too (which will just redirect you to the proper link). 

Controls

Tilt your phone left or right to slide the hockey player.

Tap Bottom Left or Top right  for a counter clockwise spin

Tap Bottom Right or Top Left for a clockwise spin

• 2D AI artwork was generated through DALL-E
• ChatGPT was used for the game title, as well as to brain storm ideas.
• Sound effects sourced from Freesound.org and Pixabay.com. 
• Font from Google Fonts.
• Everything else I created for and during this game jam.
